I found this among some of my Dad's old stuff. It's a picture of him on the cover of 'PIG' magazine, most likely from his student/doctoral days in Hull. At first I thought it might have been from the '68 student revolution in Paris, but the guy on the left is unmistakenly an english 'bobby', definitely not a french 'flic'.
I'll try to find a pic of my English grandfather and post it sometime soon. (he was a policeman in Lambeth, South London)

Love it!
My student activism got me on the records of MI5. I was wanted (and still am as far as I know) as a potential militant.
My Dad was a vicar so that was the odd father-son dynamic in our family.
